Do you have an alternator bracket(s) lying around any were? The ajustable bracket...? Um.. not the bracket that bolts it to the motor but the flat looking one that has like a slit (slot) on it and allows it to be moved so the belt will fit. If someone can decifer this and knows what im talking about please translate to the rest of the forum. One of these days im gonna learn the names of parts:pface .

Tim if you come accross one et or de that would be great, im not sure they are the same as the et, damn stuck again.Well much appreciated tim. While I have your attention though, can I ask you a quick transmission question. What plugs(sensors) do I need off of the KA transmission, and do I need the whole thing...when I say whole thing I mean the metel cylinder part that goes into the transmission, or do i just need the plug in which case I would just cut the wires and splice (solder) them. I think I explained this a little better.

when i swapped my engine, all i did was plug stuff in. i didnt transplant anything from one transmission to another. i think the ka uses one more sensor than the ca (or something) and so i just left that unplugged. i dont think any modifications need to be made to the lower engine/transmission harness.

I think I can get you one, but I will have to stop by a friend's house and look at his old motor to see if it's still there.

Alright thanks tim, I guess I was mislead by an old post.

Boost,Thanks for the offer but nismo has both brackets for 25 shipped, unless you were gonna get the ajustable bracket for free....because I wont argue with free! :D
