How much did the magazine cost? And how much did it cost them to make?

Couldn't you just slap a blackberry keyboard on there and navigate/call whoever a lot easier?

Yes. The problem of course would be the fact that they solder a contact to keep the phone from turning off.

An even easier options would be to just take a T-Mobile phone and slap that sim card in there and boom, you have a phone with data and the ability to make calls.

It's most likely a prepaid sim. So you have a limited amount of data and or minutes before it stops working.

First time I've ever felt the urge to buy an issue of Entertainment Weekly. Guess their advertising worked.

I still won't watch the CW.

Looks like it's actually some cheap Chinese Android phone that's running an app.

Meh, good luck finding one now, the vid is almost a month old...

Also, a solder point holding the phone on isn't a real problem. A piece of solder wick and a warm iron are all you need. Doesn't everybody have that laying around? :D
