Welcome to NICO, GhostBeat! yeswepromise may be your friend, but he enjoys pissing in others' Cheerios, so take it as you may.

When you say s15 conversion, do you mean the driveline or the strawberry face bodywork? Or both?

Welcome to the Family!

Enjoy your stay! and since you are a part of the family, don't get bothered by people flaming you on the conversion... just remember, it's your car and you can do what you want to it...

there is plenty of great info ont his boards so don't be afraid to look it up!

You got some great plans. My only advise is any little thing that you do to you r car, run it by everyone here, there are some very knowledgable people on this site that will help you.

lol, my friend with an S14 always said he wanted to do a strawberry face conversion before he did an SR swap. I threatened to beat him within an inch of his life unless he does the swap AFTER (and only after) he has an S15 motor.

I suggest you do the same :D

why go for a 98 if you are gonna change the front clip? if i might ask. seems like a street legal sr or anything other than KA powered 96-98 would cost so much more. Obd II is the devil and so is emissions etesting to that extent. nice plans though.

I was refering to the 96-98 model 240sx's having obd II. In my area the emmisions test for an obd II car is pluged into your ecu. An sr or rb or what ever you want can not, to my knowlege, pass this test. its not the same ecu. I dont know if his area has this but i live in TN and if we have it chances are a lot of the country has it. I know others have posted on the subject of obdII. hhope that answers your question. if not then continue to ask till i make sence.
