Hey All....

I'm working on my 2nd Versa.My first one was an 07 red S with auto transmission,nothing more.After I was forced off the road into some cement barriers and wrote that one off.We got a Airstram SL ,CVT with the full Tech package.

Sweet ride..wife and kids love it.I've had it since Apr and i have almost 20k on it.

Lots of driving with it.

Hope I can help out some with a few of the probs that come across here.

All but the passenger side frt airbag deployed...it was one heck of a ride going along the top of the cement barriers on the side of the road.I also shoved the right frt tire back atleast 2 feet from hitting and launching the car upwards.It was either hit the barriers or have the engine of the truck that forced me off the road in my lap.....The car is replacable...I'm not.....

I just wish the person or persons in the vehicle had of stopped and stayed..so I could have killed them.That car was one day shy of 3 months old.

I'm ok now,,,when it happened.it was a mild case of whip lash and lower back damage.

No pics of the old car..never got a chance to get some.Icbc took the car and wrotes it off within minutes of it getting to there inspection facilities,and then it was towed to the scrap yard before i got a chance to get any thing out of it.

I do have some pics of the new car.I'll post them up when i get home on my own computer. At work right now.

I will say one thing about the versa,its a tough little car and it sure took the pounding from the barriers. Glad I bought another one afterwards.

wow.. that sounds rough! I'm glad you were ok after it tho..

And the car is replaceable not you, so i would have probably done the same thing..

glad to hear that youre ok... and welcome to nico... i dont ever recall anyone on the forums that has totalled their versa, and coming out of it with more then minor injuries...
