Are you driving your car really gently until its fully warm? If not, start.

What kind of jerk are you getting?

My wifes 4runner does the same thing. But its because of a 2 piece driveline that adjusts when you stop...which apparently is very common on 4Runners.

I've never heard of many problems from the X like this.

Yes, I drive it very easy, I jerks like, you know when you drive stick and you let go the clutch so fast and accelerate to much on the first gear. But I got automatic transmission. It happens only when the engine is not warmed up.

Yeap I never drive my car without I warm it up. That's how they were ment to drive. What kind of gas you putting in it? Regular or premium? How long you are warming it up before you go?

Well, I always put 91 octane on this car , and I usually warm up at least 10 minute with my remote starter.

Not sure if my car takes 10 minutes to warm up...

I usually just wait for it to get to 900 RPM and when I turn my car on up here in VA, it will idle at 1200 RPM right after ignition and slow decrease to the desired RPM.

It will usually take longer depending on the outside temperature...

I strongly urge that you make it a habit of warming up your car before driving it...

Sounds like its a transmission issue not an engine thing. I would call your dealer service dept and ask them about whats going on. Check transmission fluid level.

I don't think , it's transmission problem. But I'll check the transmission fluid tomorrow .

And after 10 minutes it does it? After 10 minutes it is pretty warm. I usually warm ine for about 5-6 minutes. If it is colder outside I might warm it up for little longer so I sit in a nice warm car. LOL

If after 10 minutes warm up it still doing it you have some problems.

Does anybody knows, how to check the transmission fluid for G? I do not see any dip stick for transmission.
