I own a 1995 240sx SE with 105k miles on it. It is stock.

Four months ago, I had a minor tune-up, including air filter, fuel filter, irridium NGk spark plugs. I also had them flush the fuel system, including air intake. It ran fine.

I regularly change the oil.

In the past two days, while driving at constant highway speeds, it will hiccup a few times every minute or so...like it's running out of gas. Now it has started doing it around town.

Also, it has stalled 3 times at stop lights...but it starts right up.

So, I'm thinking fuel filter or fuel pump. Any suggestions? I'm bringing it to the shop tomorrow and want to be sure they are on the right track.

Also, what other things can I have them do in the way of a general tune-up? (It has idled sorta rough since I bought it at 75k miles. There's gotta be something I can do to make it more smooth.)

Thanks.

Mine has the same symptoms. Under load, no problem, but cruise and decel cause "hiccups". Let us know what you find.

I have heard some people say that kills O2 sensors, and that would cause the hiccups...but I'm not entirely sure about that one.

Bump for this guy?
