What gears, when exactly, describe some situations...

Make sure your RPMs are high enough, I know this sounds like I am lecturing but hey I see a lot of ppl who are never formally taught or taught correctly. If you are new to manual 3500rpm is the threshold of a smooth shift for more Z owners. You shift sooner it will hesitate to recoupe from the large load you put on the engine from low RPMs and a high gear. Practice higher RPMs, see how that pans out.

MAFs can get dirty, too much air, EGR problems, there are plenty of those too

Otherwise if you are convinced your way past that, let me know the situation

Try giving a bit more symptoms and examples -- you're a bit vague.

I was shifting from 1st to 2nd at about 5500 rpm after i shifted it kind froze at 3000 for a second the took off. I've owned a 1998 eclipse gsx and a acura rsx type r and never had the problem both were manual so i figured it was a situation special to nissan cars
