the car is a 1994 nissan altima, KA24DE.

symptoms include.

hesitation under heavy load (full throttle), mostly through second gear. fuel pressure has been checked, fuel filter replaced, plugs, wires and all that have checked out and been replaced.

should also mention that under regular operation, driving and idle are fine, until hitting full throttle..

head was recently removed, re installed to spec, double checked, timing marks are good as well. no significant wear on races, lobes, anything like that. if anyone has any insight, help is much appreciated. questions will be answered promplty. HELLLPPPP!!!

maf sensor has also checked out good. knock sensor is presumed good, probably check that tommorow,

another question, is there any secondary butterfly valves on the intake like they did on the CA18DET's??

i am very curious, any links to a diagram or anything like that??

also, would these issues have anything to do with throttle position sensor??

i should also mention, when brought up to high rpms smoothly, its fine, but when hammered on, engine shakes, hesitates.

i have found with the ka from experience..its ither 1 of 6 things...#1.).throttle position sensor loose or moving under load....#2.) Maf plug loose and wiggling from vibration..#3.) timing off...#4.) pugs/wires/cap/rotor....if these badboys arent your problem..then there is realy only 1 possibly 2 other options...

A.) your dizzy took a s***.B.) you have a short somewhere in the system.

hope this ponts ya to the rite direction.
