Searchings has come up with nothing...

Sometimes my '94 will accelerate fast when the pedal is held steady, where previously it did not. Say, I'm accelerating, and I get to the speed I want, then it will suddenly speed up. What is the deal?

Changed spark plugs and fuel pump about a month ago.

You need to describe the problem in MORE detail. Starting speed, gear, rpm, % of throttle depression.

The FSM [transmission section] defines/graphs 10 positions of throttle depression and results.

Cruise control? Sounds like you might have moved something with the Cruise while replacing spark plugs. Nissan calls it "Automatic Speed Control Device. Maybe you could pull the fuse or relay for the Cruise and drive around and see if that is it. That's my guess.

ASCD starts on page EL219 of the Service Manual.

Download one from http://www.phatg20.net

Good luck!
