1991 240sx with KA24DE...and it only happens sometimes...but at around 4k on my tach...the car starts to buck and wont go past 4k...i have a three inch cat-back exhaust...no check engine light...any help would be appreciated...

I am having this exact problem with my sr20det and i cant figure out whats wrong with it, anybody got anything?

i have the same problem so i will be going to do some diagnostic and search and see what i come up with.Ill post up tommorrow if i come up with something

3 inch exhaust on an N/A..... you do know that large exhaust on a N/A engine reduces backpressure, reducing the scavenging effect of the engine, thus LOSING MORE POWER THEN YOU STARTED WITH, right?Unless you did a turbo, or a turbo engine swap, then I appologize

LMAO most people dont know why they need back pressure. if u forgot the T when is the last time u changed ur fuel filter high rpm and fuel consumption is when it will show the most. Or ur plugs. I had the same problem after i reassembled my motor it was a bad contact a the fuel injector.
