hesitating 2003 pathfindr

A month old problem unable to find problem. Error codes said mass air flow sensor. sent off to have tested and the electronics repair shop said it was working fine. also the swirl controll valve. error P1130 replaced the control valve and the car keeps hesitating. after clearing codes went away for about a day. the mass air flow error code was cleared up. even though i put the old part back, supposedly according to repair shop it was fine. can it be bad and the testing not show it. the car now is still hesitating after a day of replacing the swirll control valve and clearing codes. any ideas as to why this is hesitating. the check engine light has not come on yet but last night the error code P1130 is there. do i keep clearing the code every day just to drive. any ideas/. the hesitating come when i accelerate hard.if lightly touch accelerator it works. but unable to accelerate fast. then hesitates.

Your airflow sensor may still be bad even though it "tests" ok. Get a scanner hooked up to it and montier airflow grams. When under hard accel from a stop it should go well over 120. If the meter is bad your numbers wil hover around 60 to 80 grams. If so the meter is bad.

on your 1130 swirl control solonoid valve check your vaccum routing to and from the solonoid to be sure its correct. The diag logic looks at the voltage from the solonoid and also looks at the position of the swirl plates. if it seems them closed when they shouldnt be it thinks the vaccum isnt getting there and vise versa.

thanks for your input . the problem is resolved. i replaced the switch assy vac. vacuu m solonoid valve. well the problem with the car was that the error codes had to be cleared with the car running. and i had tried it with the engine off. now the car is fine and running like new again.
