Hey guys, to be honest, i got a huge a$$ intercooler, lol. Thats as high as i could get it. The top of the intercooler is almost touching the upper bumber. I had to use a plasma cutter to cut half of my crash beam off. I'm running a garret t28 turbo with an obx intercooler, walboro fuel pump, hks blowoff valve. My safc 2 is being shipped to me, 370cc injectors after this weekend. Turbonetics boostcontroller.

forgive my noobness but is there a point where a big ic is just that and performance starts to go down because of the huge volume of air that must be pressurized.

just wondering.

Would be smart to get a smaller intercooler. You're going to dent the crap out of it, get a leak, and have to limp home. That size will decrease boost response as well.

do you have room to talk NA-aut-man-never-touch-a-turbo-before

it should be a nice balance with a t28 turbo, a setup im very jealous of for the street. only thing i rather have is a SSA (or like) tubular bottom mount manifold other wise your looking pretty good

My friend has a 12 sec gsx and told me he loved how it ran. Virtually no lag. I don't even feel it and full boost hits around 3000. It's very fun and response is pretty quick. My stock gst had more lag than this car.lol. I killed my friends low 14 sec spec v with cams and bolt ons. I destroyed him and keeped pulling hard. It's super fun and great a setup for street.

any reason why you prefure the bottom mount over the top mount style manifold?
