Scroll down for UPDATE!

Heres some pics finally of my 1972 510.

This was it this morning before the bumper and grill were put on.

Here she is as she sits now

Back bumper still is not sitting right, but hopefully that can be fixed this week or weekend. Looks better than no bumper for sure...

Heres the interior, just the necessities lol

And the money shot. Sorry its so blurry, took the pics on the cell and this one came out real blurry...

Leave some comments and/or criticism. Lots to come on the car and first to come is re-doing the interior. Carpet, new seats, door panels, redoing the dash and heater vents and then a cage.

After that will be body work and a new paint job.

Enjoy :

Looks good. Has nice suspension, cool engine, needs a paint job and it will be great!

Take your time with the paint job, and do it right. many nice cars get ruined with terrible paint jobs, so do your homework on the subject.

Nice catch, specially since it has that engine already swapped.

doesn't look bad....but you can see the poor qaulity in paintjob.

I hope you stick with the same scheme however....it's really a nice blue...just not the best application of paint...how bad is the body in reality...it's kinda hard to tell in your pics, but it looks pretty straight.

The paint job is pretty bad. The body is in fairly good shape. Some spots of rust but nothing too bad and nothing that cant be fixed. There are no major dents or body damage, just a few scratches and dings here and there. With a little bit of TLC the car will look real good.

I dunno what Im gonna do about the color as of now. It will be about a year or so before the car sees some new paint. Hopefully sooner but right now money is tight and I dont wanna get anyones hopes up, or my own lol

Ill decide on a color eventually and promise to the car up right...

I'm really hoping you go with a similar shade of blue

and find a good set of bronze or gold finished wheels...they go with a deeper blue so well.

Yeah, the camber is pretty bad up front. I will get that adjusted this week. I got some new pics from recently, better pics you can see better.

And I picked up a set of gold wheels, teaser pic at bottom:

Enjoy. Comments, questions, concerns all welcome...

And here are the wheels I picked up. I will be refinishing them this week, unsure of color. Cleaning and prep work will be tomoro and hopefully paint done by friday.

Enkei 14x7. All I need is another set of tires and some wheel spacers to move them out just a tad.

Heres the new shoes I picked up a couple weeks ago and started redoing them today

Here's how they started with the bolts all taken out (all 80 of them lol):

This is the one of wheels sanded down and primered ready for the red:

Masked and a little bit of red:

Here are two of them done (for the most part):

All I need to do tomoro is finish up the fourth wheel and get all the lips polished up a bit nicer. Then I need to find a set of spacers and then get some tires this weekend. Hopefully they will be on the car and rolling soon...

The color choice is not permanent but so far I like it.

Comments welcome!

They are 14x7's, unsure of the offset though. And the red color is only for now. Ill want to change it eventually.

[/quote] Why would you want to do that?? Are those tires rubbing inside your wheel wells???

Well guys, the car has been sold. I got more money for it than I bought it for and was able to pick up an immaculate 240sx for a more practical but still fun daily driver. Hopefully once I finish up school and find a real job i can pick another one and devote it as a project car. It was just too much work to have that 510 as a daily driver.

She will be missed...
