So its 300lbs lighter than the lightest s13. And the car is stripped to nothing with aluminum seats. I think it should be somewhere in that range.

I was wondering how you got it so light... IIRC, v6's are heavier than s13's no?

Funny how that engine bay looks very similar to an s13's too. Cool project, keep it up!!

nah, the s13 is gonna be mine forever there's lots of stuff that holds special sentimental value to me in that engine bay... paul and I built that CA together.

however I would happily trade the s12 or the s14! I have no real connection to either car yet (my mom is driving the s14 until she gets her new car, and the s12 isn't driveable yet!)

the s110 was sold in the states... IIRC there's no such thing as an s11 or s10... the 200sx from 81-83 (before the s12) was labeled the s110 chassis.

no clue... going on weights given on club s12. they say its in the 2400 range and I have no interior and aluminum race seats so I figure I lost 200lbs. The KA might be heavier than the CA20 that was in there, but it had a bunch of metal intake piping and a big metal box that I removed, so the weight might still be the same... who knows! Its all speculation until I find a scale and weigh it

here's a magazine who weighted a CA18ET silvia s12: 2500lbs... the non turbo car should be lighter.http://www.carfolio.com/specif...10637
