FTMFW...but that came from BASF, not from rustoleum. God I wish I could afford a WRX.

Thats actually BASF's new clearcoat. it can be applied to any color and it will make it flat.

****ing gorgeous though. i want a flat Laguna Seca Blau

is that a straight flat black or did you clearcoat cover-how many coats? Also, what did you do for prep? lastly, can you take a picture closer and from the top so we can get a better view.

Or you can go to your local carquest and pick up a gallon of flat black(or a different color) paint, primer, clear, and hardener for around $165. places also make a paint type called shebert you know like the ice cream that is like a cream color orange,pink,blue,etc. just my .02

whoever owned that REX could have saved alot of money on their flat blue paintjob if they just wetsanded it with some 2000 grit....would've looked the same.

anyways...about lexandbimmer's flat black job....you missed a spot lol your hood still looks shiny i don't see anything wrong with a flat black paint job unless the person is doing it to be "cool" or any other form of pre-meditated rice.
