Hey guys, I went to check in with the dealer who sold me my car, he's currently searching for G coupes on my behalf.... He knows how much I love the G's, so when I popped by yesterday to check in on the status, he's got a big ol' smile on his face, and starts waving me towards the shop... like "COME HERE - You gotta see this!"

I anxiously jumped out of the car, dropped my cell on the ground as I clambered out in a hurry... I catch up to him, and look in at one of the sweetest G's I've laid eyes on.

Aparently, the exhaust you see is a custom 2.25 inch pipe with Magnaflow resonators with no muffler... looks so sexy. The engine is currently being rebuilt and it's getting upgraded turbo parts... (currently houses the Greddy twin turbo kit.) Buddy has everything done to it... 16K in engine mods.

Long story short, while upgrading engine, turbo etc. the exhaust will be getting pulled to be replaced with a 3" dual catback.

I'm getting the one picuted below as the first mod on my coupe, whenever that arrives.... I may only be paying $50 - $100 bucks for it Keep ya'll posted on the transaction.... I'm all giddy inside

Best part is when it's ready, I'm going to be able to take it for a rip with the owner, hes going to let me drive it!!!!

I am always excited to see a g undergoing some major transformations. For now all I can look forward to is paying off my G by the middle of 2010. I can't wait for that day.

No Sir, you are looking at blue flames on the side of the first pimped out G35 in Nova Scotia, he was hitting 11's at the track back in 2004, it was turbo'd the first year they came out...

I don't mind the unique qualities (flames), it has the power to back it up... I'll get some video / pics when it's all complete, it also has a carbon fibre hood... lol

Just looking to drop the pedal and feel that VQ FI Power!!! Can you blame me?

Yeah. That is pretty sex. I don't really like flames but the rest are sick.

agreed, the flames are a unique touch, but definitely not something I would do to my G.

Real turbo systems shoot their flames out the exhaust...

Honestly though, I don't know what would be worse. Being seen driving with those flames on the car, or having my *** handed to me by one...

That is sweet... Minus the flames

Are you going to put that system on the sedan?

Finally a true dual on a sedan! ftw

Jeez guys, ya'll seem a little caught up on the paint there... I'm only really looking at the engine when I get giddy...

Perhaps I was a little to excited when I previously posted, but I still think it's going to be a blast to drive are you guys jealous?

Thanks!!!

meh, the flames really don't belong on a G35...it's an easy fix. I'm sure you can repaint the doors for under 1k. The car must be sweet to drive!!

What kind of power is it putting down?

Oh trust me... the mods are awesome and I would love to drive it, I just REALLY think the flames were an epic failure to do to a G.

Well, I'm not sure on the exact figures but it has an upgraded twin turbo (Greddy) around 12psi, fully built internals. I would assume well over 500rwhp. I've seen a few G coupes putting down over 1000whp (youtube) on a single turbo (APS) @ 19psi. Little more lag at lower rpm, but huge power output in the higher rpms. Id expect the upgraded twin setup to show gains over a wider rpm range, while still creating exceptional power figures on a dyno.

I will be there for some of the tuning / build, let you know after it gets dyno'd.

The comments towards the paint job will be passed along to the new owner, I'm sure he's got $$ to burn, so maybe with a new engine, clutch, flywheel, turbo components, exhaust, etc.... he'll have some $ left for a paint job...
