Nice screen shots! How did you create those?

Couldn't one just do a print screen and save to a bitmap image?

Did a print screen(ALT-Print Scrn) and pasted into wordpad document one at a time. At home I pasted the images into Microsoft Paint and saved them as .bmp. I had my 15 year old son with his learners permit driving so I could do the screenshots. On the highway had him punch the gas so I could try to see the timing advance. His reply was "I want a fast car like this but not so ugly".

Naivete begets truth.

Those wheels do make a statement.

Did you just build that excel sheet yourself or did you have a template or something? That's much better than trying to decipher the comma separated info.

Actually I figured it out mostly already. How did you turn the headers at a diagnal?

select the top row then rightclick on the selected area.

select format then the alignment tab.

it's on this tab.

Can you do me a favor? Boot up ECU Talk again while in your car. Turn on ALL of the gauges. Take a friend with you and get the car up to temp, 178 is where I was at. Go out on some open road and take it up to 60 mph/2K rpm in D (overdrive) and keep it there. I set cruise on mine. Do a screenshot and post it.

I'm trying to diagnose my car but I'm not sure where the gauges are when everything is ok. Make sure you don't have any codes. Check then with ECUTalk before the test.

I would really appreciate it! I installed a resistor in place of one of my knock sensors tonight and the code never came back on. With any luck that will help my emission test. I think I'll go in tomm. morning and get a retest now that my knock code is staying cleared.

FYI Here is the screenshot I am trying to compare. This is with the knock sensor bypass in place.

My car is out of service due to under plenum work. Will do when complete.
