why is that my car wont idle on its own till it hits 68 deg C ?

but once past that point it idles like nothing is wrong

tps isnt set right, the idle switch isnt engaging so the car doesnt know its supposed to be idling...

i dunno, had the same problem on my car tho.turns out the tps wasnt set right...i think its related to cold start and the aiv.

Could be the engine temp sensor. Check to make sure the resistance is right. 20C - 2.5 Kohm, 80c - 0.3 Kohm

my car did this and it was because of a bad tps.it could be the temp sensor as well but check for codes the sensor will throw the code.so will the bad tps, but if it was just improperly set that would not throw a code.
