Cat 4, nothing the sneeze at, "AH-CHOO!" Sorry, after 17 years I've yet to see one that eclipses a bad east coast hurricane. Still, I got stuff secured and I have plenty of food, water, and p0rn to hold out the next couple of hours while it runs right over the crib.

Meet Songda, or Chedeng, not sure why they can't agree on a single name for these things. I prefer the Japanese method myself. They look at it and say "2. It's typhoon 2."

Your lucky its not a direct hit. Still a Cat. 4 is reasonable fun.. I mean danger.

This would've been much worse if the earthquake happened today and the Typhoon was a bit more north.

Be a champ and take it on! Good luck

See that little speck of land with the word Kadena on it? That's my island. This one is weak compared to many I have seen. It's down to a three already; I may have made it doubt itself with my taunts.

oh, OH! Dam well, nice knowing you :gotme:

I've always wanted to see the eye of one. Is your Island (I didn't know you owned an Island!!!) a random mountainous patch of land?

My ex is going to China tommorrow as a matter of fact and will be there at around midnight our (Eastern) time. I wonder if this will affect the flight at all.

I've seen a few eyes. It's basically like this:

1. everything is getting blown to the left and it's raining hard and sideways.
2. blue sky and no rain or wind.
3. everything gets blown to the right with more sideways rain.

We have a lot of mountains here, but I managed to find a nice patch of flat ground for the crib, RIGHT IN A TSUNAMI DANGER ZONE!

We get earthquakes, tsunamis, typhoons, hell even the occasional tornado!
Blizzards are about the only natural forces I don't have to contend with.

I've been through 2 or 3 hurricanes but no greater than a cat 3. Actually one stalled over us for like 9 hours. After like the 5 hour we were like ok go away now the excitment is over. Another time all the power was out and it was pitch black out. I had some leftover fireworks from the 4th, I lit the mortor and it was like daytime again. Freakin' sweet.

The eye is the most evil part. It may be pretty but its the powerhouse.

I want another one!

well it's gone. Took out the power at 10 PM and shook the s*** out of my house. No visible damage, but such a mess. Now I get to go see what it did to the facilities I manage.
