What do you guys think? Go with them or keep searching I read reviews for both and they both have good treble/bass mix, so that they're not one sided(which I like). The only thing though is that I couldn't find the "ohm" for them, I dont even know what a "ohm" is, but you guys have given excellent insight thus far so I believe you guys will still give some more.

I'll bet $100,000 its 4 ohms. Infinity makes nice sound systems, but Pioneer and MB Quart are usually a better bang for the buck.

Looks like good choices, but unless you're gonna drop a bunch of cash get the best "deal" you can find, assuming you meet PMQ's sensitivity hurdle .

I personally would try to find/make work a larger speaker for the door, gotta figure a 5 1/4 or 6 1/2 will fit with some work.

Unless you're looking at component speakers, Jesda's making a safe bet.

I fit 6 or 6 1/2" Infinitys (2 way, round, poly) in the front of my 90Q. Removed the box and fitted them to it (after some trimming) put them back in. I sealed the gaps with high density EPS foam and silicone. They sound great. A friend put Infinitys (all 8) in his '67 GTO, really sounds great, probably since I painted it.

Good to know that you took that one to heart/mind

I like that the speakers have alot of Dynamic Range. By this, I mean the amount of power difference between the maximum RMS power and the Peak powering handling. They have 200 watts of "protection". This will make it hard to "blow" them during "normal" operation.

Did you put ? marks behind all of those descriptions because you don't know what they are? If so, we will be happy to define them for you.

I answered your Ohm question on your other thread.

On replacing the speakers in a 95-96 Q45:

1. On the rear deck, can you just remove the speaker cover to replace the speaker or do you have to get to it from the trunk?

2. On the front door panels, do you just remove the speaker grate or do you have to remove the lower part of the door panel?

3. On the tweeters, do you just remove the speaker grate or do you have to remove that entire piece of trim that runs from the dash to the head-liner?

If the case is to remove the speaker grate, what is the best method of doing this with out damaging the grate (i.e. bending, scratching or denting)?

Not sure if the 96 is the same as 90 Q. On mine the whole frt. door panel needs to come off (one piece). The speaker screws to a plastic box held on by 3-4 screws, which may require "tuning" to fit your speaker. Don't seal the box completely but I think there are vent(s)Hence the above post.

I put the ? after each spec. like if you were asking "How much is the sensitivity(db)?" that's all so the numbers are accurate. I got your answer on my other thread, thanks for the info. now I'm not so in the dark about that stuff.
