I use the Z general too much but i dont want to take my car to my theiving mechanic to help me change my 02 sensor.

I cant get a wrench around the 02 sensor to take it off. So i was gonna take part of the exhaust off but i cant get the bolts off so im stumped. I attached some pics to illistrate my problem.

I thought about buying a socket that will fit over the 02 sensor and just cut and then splice and re-connect the wires. What are your thoughts.

If all else fails i guess ill take it up to a mechanic and see what he can do for me.

O feel your pain, I had a down pipe I couldn't get the O2 sensor out of so I pulled the downpipe and used a spare, all I can say is your gonna have to get it out or take the exhaust manifold off and take it to a machine shop or swap the exhaust, sorry I can't be of more help, but unless you pull the motor and weld a piece of steel to it (i had to do that once) I don't see any other way, goodluck

lol, yeah go to any parts store and for about $5 you can get an O2 sensor socket, it's got a slot in the side to allow for the wire, that and some PB blaster or rust eater applied repetedly should help a bit
