helppp im having problems with my ka24de

well at first my 240 was bogging an i noticed a big loss of power i changed one injector but now the car wont start im pretty sure if i put the old injector in the car will start but it will still run crapy the car was also smoking blue does any one know whats wrong with it ?????????? thanks

yes blue indicates oil.sounds to me like blown piston rings.

i thought of piston rings after the fact hey it give you an excuse to rebuild

i kinda thought that too but i checked the compression on all pistons an they dont have much difference they are all around 150 but the last one does have a little oil on the sparkplug soo i guess it can be the ring thanks!

well i did hear of a test to check for oil take out the spark plugs stick a paper towel down inside and turn her over a couple of times if theres oil on it then there you go

i wonder if its possible to have etching in the cylinder wall along with bad rings hhmmm

Maybe when you replaced your injector, you did not put it right.Oring might got messed up and cause you to flooded and hard to start.And causing the smoke too.
