Hey there, I was recently approached by a good friend of mine with the hopes that I might be able to help him rebuild the engine in his Datsun 510. I have watched a number of engine rebuilds, but of course, nothing beats experience of which in the hands on world, I have none. I basically want to know how satanic this rebuild is going to be, and if there are any special things that I need to know before I undertake this assignment. Any knowledge would be appreciated. Is it an L-series engine? If so, its easy. Get a FSM or a book at the book store and follow the steps, not much to it.
