Helping a friend find a J30

I am helping a friend look for a used car, and he found a 97 J30 that looks to be in good condition. I had a question about it though.

I have never seen a mixed interior (tan leather/black dash). Normally all the J30's I see have Tan Leather/Tan Dash, or Black Leather/Black Dash.

Looks fishy.

It's not factory, it's either a custom job or something fishy. I saw a car up here at the used car auctions that was a Katerina flood damaged title washed Acura. It had a two-tone interior. Acura's don't have two-tone interiors. I would be wary and walk away.

Nothing fishy, Im pretty sure that J30s came with this color scheme.

Just like some of the Tan interiors have a brown dash and tan seats etc.

That interior is just like mine...I have a black dash with grey seats and door panels...they look tan but if you look at a tan interior next to mine you can really tell the difference..when I bought my car they had another J on the lot with an all tan interior and I was able to tell the difference.

I agree, there is nothing fishy here.

Alot of the Silver exterior J's also came with this interior scheme.
