Theres News!

We may be looking for some additional help in the Altima section and I wanted to see who would be interested.
Much of the work needed is organization based. Like fixing this thread altima-coupe-parts-accessories-t280490.html

What comes after that is your creativity and what you want to bring to the forum...
If you want to be considered, post here....
If you have someone you want to nominate, speak up....

P.S. You can get into SEMA as a Nico Staffer!

My vote goes to anyone who can properly organize/update this thread( altima-coupe-parts-accessories-t280490.html ) as mentioned by LBC. How else can I nominate someone if I don't see their work? A lot of missing aftermarket parts are not posted in that thread. Why not unlock that thread to see who is capable of being the ONE. Obviously it all has to be posted at one time. Unless you don't mind sharing your ideas.

EDIT: Don't want to keep spamming. In addition, anyone with experience/knowledge/seniority will get my vote too.

I'd love to give back to the NICO community and I've had a lot of spare time lately so I'd be more than happy to help out.

Im willing to give it a shot, im around the a/c section a lot at school so I can give it a shot. I can make a decent webpage for it prolly

*My Idea for the thread would be to create a new section on the Altima forum dedicated to Aftermarket Products for out cars. Its location would look like this "NICOclub Forums ‹ Nissan Forums ‹ Altima Forum ‹ Aftermarket Products & Reviews"

In it I would make sub folders for each category, Suspension, Engine, Audio, and the like ("NICOclub Forums ‹ Nissan Forums ‹ Altima Forum ‹ Aftermarket Products & Reviews < Suspension Products"). In each section I would post pages for each product, with a title like "RacingLine Y-Pipe (3.5 Only)". The post would contain a picture and all the product information listed on the manuf. site, along with a link to the product on the manf. actual site. I would then leave the posts open and people would be allowed to post reviews of the product, starting their post with a rating of 1-5 stars and then posting a comment about the product. I would make sure to monitor the board and make sure it stays purely reviews, because convos btw people about the product would make it harder and more annoying to read thru for people looking for simple info, so people would post their own review, not respond to other people and that way there would be easy to access, concise information and reviews about all the products for people to see. And all the traffic would stay on nico without forcing people to go to the manufacturers site. (unless they want to)

Lastly, I might make a chart similar to what an earlier poster put in with the basic overview to each product in a sticky in each section with a link to the post in the forum so people could click on it and access the more in depth info if they are interested by the product.

This sound decent to anyone? :ohno:

Thanks guys! This is going to be a blast.

I think I might purchase a small part for the ride to celebrate. Trying so hard to wait on those tax returns.

Something inexpensive for now. I'm looking at the GT-R push button assembly to keep up the red/black theme I have going on with the coupe.

Lookin hard at coilovers and BBKs. Maybe wheels. Brakes may come last. Looking into retrofitting Evo OEM Brembos from an 05-06 MR. We'll see. I'm still researching a lot of stuff. I'm definitely going Teins for coils though when I do make that purchase.
