help! z32 rear brake conversion

Hey, Really need help. I can't seem to pull off the hub, i removed the axle nut and i can't pull off the shield thats right behind it, am i doing something wrong? please anything will help!

the hub is pressed into the bearing and it is attached to a falt flange. there are 4 bolts that bolt the uprights to the hub remove those and you are golden..

we removed them, but it doesn't seem to budge. any advice? how can we seperate the hub, since its pressed is there anything we should do to "unpress" it.

No. Once you have the four bolts removed, the axle nut removed, all brake hardware removed, just spray it with some PB Blaster and hit it with a hammer. It should come right off.

If you are trying to remove the actual backing plate, there is a huge nylock nut that needs to be removed. Cant remember the size, but you are probably gonna drop a nut trying to loosen it.

that large nylon inserted nut is for the brake anchor pin. it's I think a 27mm and takes some 200+ ft-lbs to bust free if it's torqued properly. I had to impact mine off...
