Hey right now im running one iron caliper and one aluminum caliper in the front.

****Skip If too Lazy To read****To make a long story short. I ordered 2 1992 z32 spec calipers from napa, when my shipment arrived there was only one caliper, the front left. I was then notified after 2 weeks of pestering them with emails that the front right was out of stock... Yea thanks for letting me know after sending me the front left... (NAPA is a B**** dont ever deal with them)

I then tried to return it, never got an email back or anything or a phone call. (those B**** never answer the phone or reply to messages) So great im stuck with 1 aluminum caliper.)

I then go to autozone and order 2 iron calipers from a 1993 spec z32, since the 92's were out of stock everywhere. Basically after bolting it on and testing i realized the right caliper had a sealed shut hole, for the brake line... meaning... the fluidhad nowhere to go... im not even kidding the hole is SHUT i can take pictures to show it. Its pretty hilarious actually.

So in the end i ended up putting my single front left aluminum caliper on the front right, basically i bled the caliper with the screw up then i placed it int he right position (which would be bleeder screw down, since its a front left caliper)****Continue Reading Below****

My question is, is running a front left iron caliper and a front right aluminum caliper going to affect me alot? The weight difference isnt THAT significant, but it is there.

Btw Car brakes fine its actually, quite awesome... I dont think anythings too wrong with this setup should be fine, but just wanted to see what everyone else thought.

You should be fine, lol, funny though. I dont think there is any difference between the two accept the material in which they are made. The weight wont matter, its not rotational weight. Did you feel much of an improvement in your braking? How does the pedal feel?

Thanks kinda... ghetto...

hell if it works then your set, but I'd never mismatch braking components especially in cali-stop-and-go-afornia.

The brake feel is ridiculously good. The pedal is a bit soft but thats what I expected since i haven't upgraded to the z32 MBC but i am def going to do that.

I was braking them in last night on the road when no one was there. Doing like 60mph stops the car stops QUICK and HARD and its pretty easy to get the wheels to lock haha. yea.... its fun... im loving it

Thats exactly what i was thinking man... im going to autozone soon to get my money back and try to get myself an actual working iron caliper to try and get them to be the same left and right. It pisses me off id rather get the aluminum one but cant find any anywhere, dont know if anyone is just selling ONE used one.

I dunno I have a set of Aluminum z32 calipers but I wanted the iron version for its heat capabilities.

Ebay that ish bro.. pretty often I come across just one for sale or hit up any of our sponsors I know a few of them can help.

If all else fails.... hit the "Pick your parts" in SFV or anywhere for that matter. and just pull one off.

If you really need one I can find the number for an all Nissan yard in SFV that I know has boxes of z32 calipers... and boxes of damn near any components you could want from a Nissan.
