ok i bought a 93 240sx with a ****ed up motor. so i got a replacement motor from someone i knew for cheep, he said it ran fine but needed a new timing chain. the motor is a 95 ka24de just like my stock one but from a s14.

i changed the timing chain and made sure it was on there right and got a new fuel filter. did the swap wich was a tun of fun let me tell ya lol. but i cant get her to fire up. took one of the hoses that go to the fuel rail of and put a gaterade bottle on the end and turned the key to on and fuel came rushing out so ive got fuel. and im pretty sure ive got spark i will recheck that soon.

but it still wont crank. turns over fine just wont fire up. any ideas?

Make sure you have spark. Did it already have the distributor in there, or did you install it? If you installed it, make sure it isn't 180 degrees off.
