help wont rev past 2500rpm

i just finished a motor swap and trans swap in a auto car the car had a rod throwed and it was auto so i put a motor and trans out of my other car in it and i changed the ecu's and evrything and now the motor wont rev past 2500 its like it hits rev limiter at 2500 can anyone help me

hmm did u plug the MAF back in?That'll do it...haha stumped me for a good 30 mins before i noticed the plug dangling lol
