Help..., won't start

It is getting fuel to the regulator and it is getting fire because starting fluid will make run for about half a second. I took the regulator off to see if fuel is coming out of the other side when trying to turn it over and it isn't. So checked to see if there is vac from the throttle body on that port and there is none. What would cause that?

Bad Fuel Pump and/or relay/wiring.

I'm gonna guess you have a 96 240SX and you followed the S13 - S14 wiring diagram.

This will cause your fuel pump not to come on due to wiring differences between the two years (95 - 96).

I am putting the SR in a S13 and the fuel pump is working because I hear it come on when you tirn the key forward. I can also take the line going to the regulator off and when the pump primes fuel comes gushing out.

How can you tell the S14 SR motors apart? I know I have the WC ecu. Sorry I not up to date with SRs and just got one in one of my new cars.

I'm pretty sure they wired my car wrong. I guess I have to change it this weekend. I guess thats why my guages don't work and I had to hot wire the starter to get the car to run.
