I've done some research and I've seen that on my 2010 Altima sedan, that 18x8.5 with a +30 offset will flush the wheels, which is what I want. Where I have questions is what happens if the wheels are slightly larger that 8.5? What would that do to offset needed to sit flush?

Basically, Im looking at two wheels. Either, XXR 535s or 522s. The 522s come in 18x8.5 and I like them, but the 535s only come in 18x8.75 and I like them more. So Im curious if I can run the 535s and still get them to sit flush and if so, what offset do I need to get in order to do so? I'm a wheel n00b so I dont really understand offsets or how to figure out what I need.

Also, if I go up to 18s and keep the overall stock wheel/tire size, would lowering springs be enough to take up the wheel gap or would I need to go with coils? And are coils really as bad of a ride on these cars as they are on other vehicles?

Sorry, theres so many questions in this one thread, Im just unsure about all this stuff.
