thats fine. just make sure you connect to the proper nipple on the wastegate.

does your compressor on your turbo not have a port for the wastegate to get a signal for boost?if not, the way you have it is fine.

im not sure. i believe they way it is done is the side port is signal, and the top port is for the boost gauge, but it may vary with manufacurers.

set it up one way, step on it. if it overboosts, pull over and change ports.

no that is wrong, the side port on your wastegate is for your a boost source(eithe on the front of the compressor housing or read off of a nipple on the hot pipe). The top port on the wastegate is for only a boost controller. Hook up your boost gauge to the back of the intake manifold(the same port where the fuel pressure regulator vacuum hose reads off of) and also hook up your blow off valve to the same hose. Tee off of it.The reason why you hook up your boost gauge to the nipple off of the fuel pressure regulator because that is the final pressure number your engine is seeing. A little pressure might be lost through piping and the intercooler so its better off having the signal more accurate. If you ever get a Greddy Profec b, the solenoid box has an "IN" nipple and an "OUT" nipple.THe "IN" nipple is supposed to tee off of the line between the compressor housing and the side port of the wastegate.THe "OUT" nipple is supposed to go straight to the top port on the wastegate.Hope this answers your questions.
