Ok so heres the deal. I am building my s14 ka and had it back together. the other weekend. It was running good until it shut down unexpectedly. I heard a little knock while it died. So after pulling the valve cover off I see that the intake cam sprocket is about 3 mm off line with the exhaust sprocket. Of course this could not be any worse. So I am going to reassemble it with some loctite and check compression. I am praying it didnt bend a valve. It died at idle so that may or may not help the cause. My concern is with putting the upper timing chain back on. I know the 10 and 2 o'clock deal with the cams but the sprocket that connects the lower chain and upper chain has run with the motor and the mark prolly wont line up. How can i make sure to install the timing chain correctly? link counting? Please help i would like to get this thing running soon. Thanks
