its pretty easy to install! Use search to find a s14 wiring pinout. Use that with your instruction book, one can also be downloaded from apexi. setting up is easy too. Type safc in search and filter through till you get some help!

Do it right buy enthalpy. I bought a btm and safc to tune myself along with wideband.... 6months later I bought enthalpy.. Direct plug in and drive, no worries. Besides you'd have to go to dyno to tune your car which is an added cost... why don't you want enthalpy? What turbo kit you have?

yea the sr injectors will just snap into your fuel rail. Lube your O rings!!!!Did you search the safc wiring instructions and the s14 ecu wiring pinout. SAFC is very easy to install just dont over think it Look at a pinout and connect wires! Setting it up is easy. Your fuel injectors are 370's replacing 270's I am no good at math but figure what percentage bigger they are than 270 and set all off boost to -X, x being the % difference. Do you have a different MAFS? If so research the settings on that maf for in/out settings. I believe a stock mafs is 2 in 2 out. your ne points are where the afc basses correction off of rpm. example ne1 is set to 800 this is your idle correction for 370 cc injectors. What size turbo do you have where does it start boosting. You will also have high and low maps. High throttle I look at it like this I mash down the throttle so mine was at 80% high and 30% low. That is what depends on your driving style. Are you the type that drives like grandma 1/2 the time and floars it the other half. Or do you alwyas drive like grandma and just have the turbo kit to make you have more power there just in case you need it. Are you planning on racing your car? All of these questions should be asked before you start your base tune. Do you have a wideband? If not take your base tune and go straight to a dyno and get it dyno tuned! They will set it up the rest of the way.

Wait isn't the safc NEO lik 400 bucks and the Enthalpy ECU like 500 bucks.

For that 100 extra bucks I would definitely go the Enthalpy route much simpler, and his tunes are proven to work.

$600 if you have an S14. He charges an extra $100 for the S14 to S13 conversion harness...

But, yeah, wait a few more weeks or months until you can afford enthalpy. It's soo nice to plug in and go. This whole turbo project is never something to rush unless you have tons of re$ource$...

That guy has no real affiliation with this or any other website that I've seen. Also his feedback is 97%, I wouldn't buy from him. Honestly you'd be better off using the safc that letting some bootlegger on ebay sell you an ecu. When going turbo buy the real deal or don't deal at all. Someone told me that a long time ago and its the trueth I don't care what anyone says.

I was thinking about using him. I have seen a few people running that(seen online) I didnt cause I am selling my kit! I would give him a shot. How can a new tuner get to the scene and get his cred? I am sure when enthalpy started everyone said nah go with a jwt tune they are proven. But then again 80 % of everything is BULL****TTT. for 300 worth a try. I was actually talking to the guy thru email and he seemed pretty knowledgeable(sp.) about the 240 and tuning it! An ecu tune SHOULD be pretty straight foreward! He only has to change a few things. Search the ka-t.org website and look for some people that have it!

He is on Z ilvia also. I have a tune by him which I did on the side, not ebay. His work is good. Just read the post on Z ilvia. It might help you out a bit. From my personal experience he is a goog guy, and knows what he doing. I would check it out.

Well thats cool some people have had sucess using him, I'm always leary using someone who doesn't have atleast 98%, it also depends on how many feedbacks they have also. I've been on ebay since 99 and my feedback is 100% with 3200 feedbacks. Can anyone post some dyno's of this guys tune and spec's of what is done to your car for refrence? I wasn't trying to knock the guy or anything, like I said built motor or not, the wrong tune will get ur **** blow'd up.

I felt the same way after seeing the ebay feed back. I was in contact with Jason for about a month or so prior to going ka-t. If i can find the link, I think he has some dyno graphs posted. When my car gets painted and my suspension is taken care of I will post a dyno so that people can get a idea.

Thats cool, I just don't want to get burnt on something, my biggest thing is, is if you pay for said product/service that is what you should get. If someone rips me off and I know they did on purpose thats bad news, I did 2 years defered b/c someone tried ripping me off on my second house.
