help with tunning and other modifications

Hey, I have an automatic 1989 240sx, a KA24E. It's a stock engine and I want to get some increases in max speed and acceleration. I'm by no means a car expert and my technical vocabulary is very limited. Any ideas would be appreciated.

max speed doesnt mean anything, its all about acceleration. as for stock auto ka24es.... your prob only seeing 110 to the wheels. not much potential for n/a auto ka24es.
