I picked up this car, the previous owner didnt know much about it (he bought it from someone who needed to sell it quick before he was deployed).

Its a 1991 s13 ka24de-T, sr injectors, and a garret td04.

i was told it has a daughterboard ecu.... not sure what that looks like so i included pics. someone let me know if it looks aftermarket lol.

the car is running super rich right now. it rarely goes over 10:1 on my wideband. i have a safc hooked up. my tuner tried to tune it with it but he couldnt get it to respond. I had two people look over the wiring and they both said it was good. I had another guy try to mess with tuning it but no matter what the settings are on the safc, it doesnt change anything on the car.

whats going on here?

The green yellow square on the bottom right corner of the ecu is the daughterboard, the 2 black rectangles are the chips(the actual tune)

Your very best bet is to find a way to completely remove the safc, and send the ecu off to someone like Enthalpy or EFI Specialist and have the set you up with a solid tune.

This will eliminate your unknown tune and the crappy safc (because it shouldn't be needed for a good rom tune.)

Good luck, and please change your oil before you run the car hard, it's saturated in gas running 10:1 all the time. Just smell your dipstick.
