Hey there i just got ahold of some Gramlights 57F wheels, bronze. they are 18x8.5. The guy left the tires on them for me, they are a bit warn down but have some life to them. I checked tirerack and the recomended tire size is 225/45/18. However after looking at the tires when they arrived he had two different sets. Bridgestone potenza on two, and Perreli Pzeros on the other two. Their measurements are 245/40/18, and 255/40/18. Is this good to have two different measurments? Will they still work properly on my car? i have an 08 alti coupe 3.5 with eibach springs. Any help/info would be great, Thanks.

Relax, I'm just desperate because i spent a good deal of money on the rims and i want to be able to use them and not wait for two months in order to get tires. Just figured people would respond quicker in this area. But thanks for being a nice guy.

It's best to use the same size. Most likely cause odd wear. In your case I don't see it being a big problem.

Um....that response was a little uncalled for don't you think? Obviously you didn't read my post in the other thread, so let me spell it out clearly for you: VERY VERY FEW PEOPLE LOOK/POST IN THE WHEELS SECTION OF THE FORUM.

So great, the thread gets moved to the wheel section, but now he will get a tenth of the replies he might had otherwise. GREAT! The wheels forum is effectively dead, plain and simple.

**I'm not trying to be an ******* about this or anything, but it upsets me when someone is obnoxious about something when they don't know the full story about it.

Good choice in wheels. You will be fine with the tires you have. If you like how the 255/40/18 tires look, I would go on all 4 corners when you upgrade your tires. A bit more expensive, but you will love it. If not, you can always do 225-245/45/18 or 245/40/18.
