I was just wondering about the fitment of a 245/45/17 tire on a 17x9 +15 wheel for an S13 with Coilovers all around?

How well would the tires clear up front? What if the car is lower 2"-3"?

I'd rather go with a 40 profile tire than a 45, but either way, it's going to be a tough fit unless you're using tire brands that are known to run small. I.E. Nitto 275's seem to be as wide as Falken 235's. These are just examples, mind you...

You'll need a roll & pull to run these sizes, but it will probably be worth it. This is the same route I'd go.

I plan on doing a roll and pull anyway but I was wondering about the inner coilover clearance in the front.

There is a REALLY good deal on Bridgestones in this size, and I was just trying to take advantage.

Well, most ppl feel that 17x9+15 is the ideal size for s13's if you want to avoid alot of extrawork. Your wheels should clear the coilovers & fit fine. The issue you should be more concerned with is how much you're going to be rubbing. But well all know that there's more than one way to skin a cat!

Make it work!

I had my 17x9 up front with a 245/45/17 with a +15 offset and I will tell you now it will rub without a roll. I only ran it for a short while but it was on coilovers(that weren't completely slammed mind you), but it sure looked nice.
