Help with timing issue

wassup,i went to a shop to get my timing looked at and they wanted to charge me $30 just to look at it and use MY timing light so i was like f*** that ill do it myself......

so i kno its suppose to be 15 degrees factory but heres the problem. when u put the light on the pully there are 5 marks...i just want to clear up sumtin..the line in the middle is the 0 degree mark right and there's 15 degrees between each mark right?

yea so one mark to the right would be 15 degrees. or the second mark to the right.

It goes like this 5 BTC - TDC - 5 - 10 - 15 - 20

The mark you want is the second to the left.Hope that answers your question.

k now i'm confused. there are marks 1 2 3 4 5 on the pully. so it should be set on mark 4 which is 15 degrees?
