Can someone tell me, on average, how much it would cost to have the SR resleeved?? and please dont say "a lot!", or "dont worry about it, its good til around 350hp". I've got enough money saved up to where I want to build up the SR before it goes in the car. I plan on having it resleeved, pistons and rods before its in the car. I'm trying to prepare for some high numbers come mid-summer. Thanks for the help.

Mike

2399-RN001 CYLINDER SLEEVE RPS13 - PS13 - S14 - S15 $500.00

If you want HKS, thats their part #, and price...

http://www.hksusa.com/info/?id=1606

if your talking about something custom made, then it would depend on who's doing it, and we cant really guess on that information...

piston and rod prices are also on that page....or you can check out http://www.phase2motortrend.com

figure about $80 an hour....and it depends on if your bringing in a empty block...disasembled etc etc.....All these questions are ones you have to ask the machine shop you choose to do the work...i cant guess at that info...if you bring in a complete motor, its gonna cost you about 8 hours of labor.....if you bring in a block, disasembled, it might only take 3-4 hours....i mean it all depends on what you want to get done also...if your asking for boring, etc....and assembling...it all adds up to time...and there is no way to give an estimate for someone elses price....pick up your yellow pages and call a machine shop, tell them what you want, and they can give you an estimate.....tell them you have an empty block, and you have sleeves, you just need them put in....if you bring a complete motor, its gonna cost a lot...
