i never had to lube my injections before going in..usually i set them in...get a flathead screw driver...turn it upside down and lean it on the injector...then i take a hammer and LIGHTLY tap it in..works like a charmcrzycav86 wrote:..because you lube them up properly when you reinstall them.

haha yeah that injector does look pretty beat up....probably beat it with a hammer after taking it out to release angerJookmasta wrote:man u must have sum unbent anger or some serious stress cuz u f'd that injector pretty badly. patience is the key. they will loosen up and u'll be able to spin/turn em by hand but they wont come out. u just have to either hit the bottom of the injector with a rubber hammer or vice grip em. wear some gloves next time cuz as said b/f, u have the battle scars of the stock injectors.................
Seems that wya.I had no problems with my sohc. Fixing to swap injectors on my dohc....see if I'm lucky again.grimple1 wrote:Probably would've been easier to just swap in a different engine.
