I tired everything from vices, removing FPR, to destoring the injectors completely. It seems like there some type of suction. the SR injectors are the same and I don't want to destroy those. am I doing something wrong? and yes I remove the metal clips holding the injectors.

get a flat head screw driver under the injector clip on the injectors and rock it side to side while pulling on the injector

i would suggest vice grips, and rags and elbow grease. if you plan on using the vicegrips, grip the top of the injector while holding the rail down with ur foot. do this only with ur stock injectors as u probably wont be needing them.............

take the fuel rail right out, flip it upside down, put braces on either side of the injector, and pound them out with a hammer. you might need some sort of punch. only do this if you dont plan on re-using the injectors.

unplug the injectors.remove the caps.thread the cap screws back in about halfway.use small flatheads to pry the injectors out by the indents in the top using the screws as a fulcrum.

i suggest something nice and pointy...i had this thing with a lil curve at the tip and it was pointy so it poked right into the injector and poped it out..forgot whats it called though...do not use anything to grip it because you will just tear up the injector

They are a PITA no matter what you do.

BUT, be VERRRRY careful NOT to bend the fuel rail. They bend sooo damn easily; I've personally bent two inadvertantly. You can bend them back fairly easily but they'll never be as straight, and this could cause problems sealing the injectors into the intake manifold, possibly causing, say, boost leaks.

I donno if this'll help, but it's worth a shot:

Open up the gas tank cover to relieve some of the pressure.

Take two very fine tip flathead screwdrivers and wedge them in between the injector and the rail, then just pry it up a bit, stick the other screwdriver in and it should pop right out, just be sure to get the original screwdriver in deep so it has alot of injector to grab, or else you will break the platic on the injector. I get them out in about 20 seconds each at most. Dont worry if you break the injectors plastic a little, only the two injector o-ring seals really mater for them to work right.

..because you lube them up properly when you reinstall them.

lube just helps them go in without tearing. the fuel would clean off any lube it can touch right away

i never had to lube my injections before going in..usually i set them in...get a flathead screw driver...turn it upside down and lean it on the injector...then i take a hammer and LIGHTLY tap it in..works like a charm

All I know is that my stock injectors were a pain in the *** to get out.

When I installed the new injectors, I put a layer of automotive grease on the o-ring, and when I removed them later that day, they slid out like warm butter.

Project injectors swap was a complete failure. I'm not about to destroy the 370cc injectors so I guess its time for some 525cc with top fed rail.

i don't want to get used to this. it funny that i never feel the pain whenever i work on my car. But once i get a splinter i cry like a lil girl.

OMG what the...

theres no need for that. twist/spin them around a lil, get a screwdriver under that clip ( its notched perfectly) and twist the screwdriver while pulling on the injector with your hand.

man u must have sum unbent anger or some serious stress cuz u f'd that injector pretty badly. patience is the key. they will loosen up and u'll be able to spin/turn em by hand but they wont come out. u just have to either hit the bottom of the injector with a rubber hammer or vice grip em. wear some gloves next time cuz as said b/f, u have the battle scars of the stock injectors.................

Thats what happens when you use pliars to remove stuff. I never had any problems like that at all and mine were in for 165,000 miles.

Probably would've been easier to just swap in a different engine.
