Car: 1992 Nissan 240sx

I have a 1992 240sx and sometimes when my car is idle, or when I'm driving it sounds as if my hood is rattling. One of my friends told me I needed to tighten the engine mounts, could that be the problem? I looked to see if it was my hood, but it didn't appear to be the hood. What could be the sound?

If it happens at idle,open the hood and see if it goes away. That would pretty much rule that out if it continues with the hood open.
