Ok here is my next scheme. This all started when I started laying out some ideas for a sound system.. Im not skinping on this area at all .. I got a 4000 wat amp going to be wired into to twelves. But ok on top of that i am installing a dvd screen, gauges, and etc. Ok now here is what i am working with.. I dont want to run the stereo system off of the man harness with the amp.. so I am going to hook up a second alternator and second battery setup.. Now I want to run a completely second harness off the second battery to run all the things that I have noted above.. that way if i decide to upgrade later i wil have a fresh supply to run off of besides the factory harness and rob power needed for the truck.. this is a diagram i drew up to show what i am going for.. What i need to know is.. that kinda relay setup or if any do i need to set up right.. I dont want to jsut run all the power wires stright to the battery and then toggle them to make them turn on.. I am setting up a second fuse box to just for them things that i am adding .. But how would i distribute the power from the battery to all the accessories and have them a key on source? I set up a electric fan setup and the relay has a key on source with two power leads comeing off to run two fans.. so the concept is one power in and two powers out with a key on function .. Now is this going to be the same concept with lets say 10 accessories? Just need more relays ??? i want to be sure.. so thats why I am here .. Now i asked around on the net for a while and the only response I got was you can't run two alternators into one battery so I have to say I am not doing that.. I am going to have 2 alternators , 2 batterys, and two harnesses .. the main harness running the starter and all the other things on the truck like it is now, and the new one that i am hooking up to run my extras.. can someone help me with this.. thanks.. Oh and I got all the specs on the charging system for the alternator and battery so all i need to know is the best way to hook up the wiring to distrubrute the power to the accessiores http://viewmorepics.myspace.co...03687 the link that i gave sends you to my page with the image of the graph that i am working with... feel free to check out all the other mods on the truck through there.. just click on the link in the upper right hand corner that says back to albums and then go to the nissan folder..

on my last truck i was running basically the same setup but two amps and my suspension. instead of adding an alternator i just upped my origonal one and put in another dry cell batt. in series. i was thinkin about doin the same as your gonna do but i found it alot easier to do it the other way. it was realy efficient i could run two pumps at max and my whole AV setup as ard as i wanted at the same time and i never had any problems. no clipping, no batt. drain and my alternator faired fine.

thanks for the reply earlier but im still havin some issues if you wanna read my reply.

talk to you soon.
