Help with some parts
I found an RB20DET block and head... basically a long block that has a spun bearing, and some broken head studs and is missing the water pump and oil filter hookup??? This is VERY cheap but i was wondering how much and where i could get these parts, i think its missing both manifolds as well. What else would i want to look for in a motor thats been over boosted and leaned out? Would i need a crank?

it may cost more than the price of a "new" used engine to fix it enough to be useable. theres no way to know till you pull it apart and check.

do you think its worth $60 for the block and head. It has all the internals and the head is complete but with broken head studs.Carl H wrote:if its been toasted then the block will def need some love to be straight again.
