Help with schematic, need to modify circuit
Hey, do any of you know anything about board electronics? I've got a schematic here at work that' is killing me, I need to break the Display power circuit and keep the chip memory... Anyone? Help!

Huh? What do you mean break the display power circuit? You can easily break it with a switch or relay. That's why I ask, because it can't be that simple.

yup, you could put a relay between the display and R5, or a simple spst switch. This would allow the display to be issolated from the voltage rail. ie power is still supplied to everything else.
