help with routing hoses

i just finished replacing the timing chain and guides and the headgasket while i was in there. now i need some help remembering where some of the hoses go. the part i need help with is in the picture near the upper right. just above the egr valve. the metal tube with two outlets near the firewall and one near the front. i need to know where the two near the firewall should go to and just double check that the one hear the front is connecting to the intake tube.

turn that FSM to page EF & EC-7

the 2 that faces the firewall goes to the swirl control solenoid valve assemblies... hopefully another can give u that page of the FSM <i'm running on an older backup pc till i get it running again>

the top one goes into the intake mani collector=confirmed

agh, the pic is cut off to where those 2 hoses connect to on the right hand side; well the bottom metal hose turns up & should meet w/ the middle metal hose on that metal vacuum tube assembly

thanks for the replies. im not sure if we're talking about the same thing though. the two hoses with the metal covers around them are hooked up. there is a metal tube that is between the upper intake manifold and valve cover. it is right above a set of 3 metal vacuum tubes. the end near the front goes to the intake and the other end splits off. im not sure where the rubber hoses from the two split ends should go.

crap... u mean that bigger metal hose...oopsie<ya shoulda circled that pic n posted, but my bad in mis-reading your post>

the tube that goes to the front of the engine does connect to the intake tube...actually routes under the big intake boot to the battery side of the intake tube.

k... soo the firewall end ----= which i'll name the top of that = sign #14 & the bottom of the = sign #13

#14 connects to the AAC valve (part of the IAA unit)

#13 connects to the Air Regulator valve
