Help with replacing rear hatch glass!

Hello everyone! New here and new to the 240... just acquired a 1989 240sx that needs a little love! First project is replacing the rear hatch glass... a tree fell on the hatch obviously smashing the glass, and I have already purchased a replacement hatch with glass... the reason I'm not doing a full (easy) hatch swap is that the donor hatch is toast! Lot's of rust (Holes!)... I've been googling for some how to's but can't find any good ones... I plan on just trying to pry the new glass out and cut the seal with a blade, then glue the glass into the existing hatch after I clean out the broken shards... any and all input would be appreciated! Thanks!
