help with removing emblems

anyone know how to remove the emblems of the 06'M. was told to heat them up then remove. sounds kinda odd. i have gold emblems that i want to replace with chrome

There are 2 methods I can suggest to you assuming they are just on with double sided tape. I do this with motorcycles all the time.

One is to use thin fishing line and just get behind the emblem and go back and forth and it cuts through the tape. Then hit it with some goof off or something like that to remove the adhesive.

The other method is to take a hair dryer and heat the emblem up and after a little bit you should be able to just peel it off. The hair dryer is my preferred method whenever possible. The adhesive usually come off more that way.

the hair dryer makes since. i thought they were somehow held on with some sort of stems that were pressed through the cars body. this will work for the grille emblem as well??

grill infiniti logo is cliped in there. no tape. you can remove it

use a blow dryer.stay about 1'' from the emblems for about 1 min and they come out with ease.i've done it plenty of times.leaves NO residue behind.
