help with removin stock stereo

i can't remove the stock stereo...i pop the vent off, unscrew the two screws below it, unscrew the screw behind the ash tray and the front still wont pop out......help please....wut else do i need to remove or unscrew

did you remove the trim around the shifter? there are 2 more screws down there.

does the trim pop right off? or are there screws

if you have a 5spd, unscrew the shift knob, then push the shift boot down inside the trim piece until you can get a good hold with your finger tips, then pull up, be easy dont rip it out, there are no screws holding this in.

the trim around the ****er is just popped in, no screws so start from the back with screw driver and slowly pop it up , and keep going

remove the trim around the vents and a/c controls...just pops off...there are two more up there, five in total i believe...

This things pretty detailed with pics, that's what I followed to remove my stock radio from my old 89 240. There's a guide for the 95+ model also.
