I searched and couldn't seem to find anything (probably not using the right key words). But I've gotta put this single DIN alpine deck that I bought for my ex-girlfriend in her '89 240SX that already has some old eclipse deck in it (which now doesn't work, which is why I bought her this deck). So I don't need help on wiring or getting a harness/bracket, I was just wondering what changing out aftermarket CD players in these cars would entail. If you could link me to a guide or something to that effect that'd be great. Thanks in advance!

Car Stereo Help has some good info on removing the stock deck, that info along with a set of "keys" should allow you to get the deck out.

if the speakers have factory amps, you may want to bypass those. cd players with built in amps are better than the factory seperate ones nissan gives you.

Thanks for the link Rex! I'm off to her house right now. She's already got an aftermarket deck in there right now, so I'd imagine if there was a factory amp, it's already been bypassed (or at least I hope...when I put a deck in my eclipse, the amp was doing all sorts of funky things with me wanting to bypass it). Thanks again guys!
